To start with, the seminar was hosted by our school's Principal Assistant Li Ping. At the beginning of the event, Principal Hu Qilin and Zhou Quan, a Chinese language researcher from the municipal education research office, delivered welcoming speeches, extending a warm welcome to the attending experts, researchers, and participating teachers. They expressed hope that this seminar would serve as an opportunity to establish a platform for exchange and mutual learning, pool collective wisdom in teaching research, and jointly promote the development of regional Chinese language education.

What's more, this event used lesson examples as a vehicle and promoted growth through teaching evaluation. Ms. Yang Wen from Anqing No. 4 Middle School, Ms. Huang Xiandan from the Junior High School Department of our school, and Ms. Jiang Shan from the junior high division of No. 1 Middle School of Anqing Petrochemical Works of China each delivered research lessons on "Thinking and Doing," "The Longevity of the Tortoise," and "Memories Linger." Grounded in the key language elements of their respective units, the three teachers meticulously designed their instruction: some used thought-provoking questions to stimulate deep reflection, others emphasized recitation and appreciation to savor the poetic essence, and still others employed close reading to awaken emotional resonance. Therefore, the classes fully respected students' central role, integrated reading and writing practice with both in-class and out-of-class reading, showcasing diverse and vibrant approaches to Chinese language teaching.

Furthermore, during the discussion on the lesson evaluation, Zheng Dan from Zhenning Junior High School in Huaining County conducted a detailed analysis of the lesson examples from aspects such as student situation assessment, task design, thinking progression, reading guidance, and fostering moral character. Obviously, not only did she highlight the strengths of the classes but also provided suggestions for improvement.

Last but not the least, at the seminar, Wang Yanan, a senior editor of middle school Chinese at People's Education Press, delivered a special report titled "Revision Ideas and Teaching Suggestions for Ninth Grade Chinese Textbooks", which provided a deep analysis from the perspective of textbook compilation on aspects such as the revision logic, unit arrangement, text content, and unit Chinese learning elements, offering authoritative and practical implementation guidance for classroom teaching.

In summary, Zhou Quan, the language curriculum researcher of the Municipal Education Research Institute, delivered the summary of the activity, hoping that all the participating teachers would apply what they had learned during the training to their teaching practice, base themselves on the new curriculum, deeply engage in the main classroom area, promote teaching through research, and work together with one heart to do a good job in junior high school Chinese education in Anqing. Thus, not only did this training a recharge and empowerment for interpreting the textbooks, but also a brainstorming session for classroom practice, which clarified the teaching direction and updated the educational concepts for all the Chinese teachers in Anqing City.
